Lucy beat 18 of the best American pointer/setter puppies on the west coast.  She ran an awesome all age race, with little scouting and all forward.  Wayne Down did a masterful handling job in order to achieve this great win.  Ron Bader one of the judges commented that this dog is one of the finest all age prospects that he has seen in region 11 in the last 20 years.  He went on to say that he was very impressed with her speed, stamina, and forward race.  I am very pleased with her and we are expecting big things from this young dog. 

Lucy's second field trial on 11/11/07 at the Setter Springs Ranch in Maricopa, California was the Region 11 Amateur Derby Classic.  There was a field of 12 dogs and Lucy was named the winner. She put down an incredible forward ground covering race.  She is definitely showing tremendous potential as a true all age setter.

12/1/07 - Lucy places third in a 14 dog all age derby at Maricopa, CA
